The Restart Page is what triggered me to start this whole blog. It’s one of those weirdly nostalgic corners of the internet. You mess around with it for five minutes, smile, and then forget it even existed. I didn’t want to forget about it, so rather than bookmark, I thought I would create this blog and allow others to feel my joy. Anyway, it’s a collection of old “restart” screens from classic operating systems. Click one and you’re suddenly back in a school computer lab, or your childhood bedroom, waiting for dial-up. Go have a play, it’s fun.

Big change starts with knowing where we stand. Dataguessr turns world data into bite-sized lessons.
By day, I am a primary school teacher (or elementary if you are in that part of the world). By night, internet nerd. Today, I found Primesweeper. It’s the classic old game of Minesweeper, but it uses prime numbers. It really gets you thinking and it’s a little bit fun. Guess what the kids in my class are going to be doing on Monday?

Keith Richards called Prince 'an overrated midget' and called Oasis 'obnoxious'. Here are some of Keith Richards best insults.
Here is an awesome Instagram account for lovers of travel.
The Word Search Drum Machine lets you make beautiful(?) music using text from famous books including Frankenstein, The Great Gatsby, Moby Dick, and more. I found it fun for about 5 minutes, but that's because I couldn't make beautiful music. Maybe you will be better at it than me?
This idea is genius. Weather Watching by Riley Walz is an AI weather forecaster. Instead of relying on weather forecasts, Riley uses AI to watch the people walking past his webcam. AI checks to see what the passerby's are wearing and if they are carrying an umbrella or not. This gives Riley the best understanding on what to wear for the day. Sadly, only available in New York. ☹️
The Internet Archive has created GifCities, a database of all the GIF’s that you probably published on GeoCities. Naturally, the first GIF I searched for was ‘dancing baby’. Other search options to try: ‘under construction’, ‘dancing spiderman’, and ‘guestbook’. If you are reading this and have no idea what I am talking about, you missed out on the greatest internet.
